The background of this painting was inspired by a painting on the outside of a church in Eastern Romania, famous for its blue color. I've made a few changes, naturally, in particular changing out the patrons and the saints and throwing my own cast of characters into the river of the damned, and covering where Jesus sits with the holy lollipop. |
