This is the first painting after my show in New York. In new york went to a lot of museums, including the craft museum, the neue museum, and many others. The patterns of the crop fields from the airplane reminded me of some of the quilts. So I thought I would put some of those patterns into the painting, as well as mix in a touch of Klimt. So hence this painting. |
