Fall
Series:Redemption
Size:36 x 36
Medium:Oil on linen
Eve sits in the garden underneath the tree of knowledge on a clear autumn day, getting ready to take that fateful bite of the chocolate donut that rests seductively around her finger. She glances up, not realizing she is about to trigger the fall and thus millenia of guilt and raking of conscience and leaves. Although you can't see it from the photo, the sides are a dichroic red-blue with stars, giving a bit of a center panel from a triptych feel. To the right in the stone is an excerpt in Hebrew from Genesis 3:6, vtira ha-esha ki tov ha-sufgani, which to those of you familiar with Genesis translates in English to: when she saw that the donut was good.

Hannah says:
I absolutely love the colors together, makes me feel very relaxed.

Bill C says:
your work with colors are fantastic, compared to earlier works, they truly create a dramatic but soothing effect that is quite comforting. The brush strokes are smooth and uncompromisng and of course your composition always entrigues me.
