Sometimes a still life is not only about the objects, but the state of mind, in which one truly tries to have a still life. Nothing except for the canvas and the objects. A sense of peace where perhaps none exists in the external world. With this painting I've upgraded to a nicer grade of canvas for the little ones, and it is so much more pleasurable to use. |
