I began this painting wanting to paint a marble (I need to find some new marbles for a future painting), and to incorporate it into a comic strip. Here Batman is off on an adventure with one of my models. The green splats are because a client was driving my stress levels up so I was reducing stress by shooting zombies on the Wii, so that represents splatted zombies. The web in the back in part represents RNA and DNA -- both from a family tree sense which I'm quite busy with and from a virus sense, which I'm reading a lot about lately. |
